Garlic Rice

We went to dinner last weekend to a Peruvian restaurant in our neighborhood. It was a first for me and I have to say, the food was delicious. We will be returning for sure! Tuscan Hot Farro with Bacon and Gorgonzola

We’d never had farro before, or even heard of it, before we sat at a restaurant in Lucca, Italy. Osteria del Neni was the place that introduced us to this dish, and I am so grateful they did! Who knew this ancient grain was so delicious and nutty flavored and that once you add some salty bacon and the bite of Gorgonzola cheese this grain becomes an amazing dish!  Tuscan Farro with Bacon and Gorgonzola
