I love rosemary and garlic combined with pork. In these rosemary pork skewers I added the sweetness of honey too. I found the honey left a nice caramelization on the meat when it cooked. Trust me, the chicken ones from last week were good and preferred at dinner by over half the guests, but these pork ones were preferred by me and a few others. Maybe it’s because it’s pork. Maybe it was the flavors. I’m really believing that it’s both things!
My best friend is Filipino. This post is totally from his suggestion! He told me I should make some Filipino pork BBQ skewers. I wasn’t sure if I could. I didn’t remember him ever cooking them or ever having them. After thinking about it, I remembered I did have these before, or something similar, when we went for Filipino food last time I visited him in San Diego. They are delicious!
