Walter’s Lasagna

One of Walter’s specialties is lasagna. He’s always made a great dish and it improved after our trip to Italy (and the many detailed notes we took while eating the food there). One of the things that make this lasagna so amazing is the fresh ingredients used in it especially the fresh homemade pasta noodles. If you are daring enough and have the tools, I highly recommend using them. It is ok if you don’t but it does make a difference. lasagna-4

Pumpkin Seed (Pepita) Crusted Pork Steak

I bought these pork steaks the other day and wasn’t sure about what I was going to do with them. I was going to just make my garlic rosemary pork steak recipe, but then realized I had nothing to post this week yet, so needed to change course! Frittata Breakfast Sandwich

My favorite part of the weekend is the morning. Why? Because every weekend morning Walter and I cook breakfast together. It usually consists of Walter’s amazing home fried potatoes and some egg dish I whip up. Often it is accompanied with bacon. Last weekend was a bit different.
