Bacon Wrapped Chicken Cordon Bleu

So I was looking for a little something different to do for the blog this week. I figured I would “cross” meats! Initially I was just going to do a chicken cordon bleu since it has pork deliciously wrapped inside. I was fine with that. The breading on the outside all nice and crispy. Then I go to thinking, instead of breading, why couldn’t I wrap it in BACON? Seriously, the bacon would add an additional flavor profile and make it taste that much more awesome! So I did! Summer Couscous Salad

This is the last recipe from the spiral ham this summer…I promise! I loved the challenge though! It kept my kitchen cooler, made me think outside the box a bit, and totally got me out of any comfort zone that I had. I am making this one for a Block Party my neighborhood is having this weekend! Ham and Cheese Waffle

In an ongoing attempt to 1. Not make my house hot by using the oven and 2. Use this spiral ham for summer recipes, I decided to jump on the trend of using a waffle iron for things.
