Living in Chicago we are about 45 miles away from Wisconsin. What’s in Wisconsin? Cheese. Lots and lots of cheese! Better yet, CHEESE CURDS! So if you ask anyone from Wisconsin about cheese curds they will tell you how delicious they are and how they need to squeak when you bite into them — it means they are fresh. We are lucky to get some of those Wisconsin dairy farmers down here with their fresh cheese at the farmers market.
