Oink Burger

Today we are putting the “HAM” back into HAMBURGER! So I was planning on calling this one a “Bacon & Ham Hamburger” but upon eating it, Walter coined the phrase “Oinkburger” and I really LIKED it! It all started because I had ham left from the spiral ham I bought and wanted to do something with it in a burger. The plan was to grind it up and mix it with ground beef to make a “ham-burger”. Then I was planning to top it with bacon but thought, “Hey, while I am grinding up the ham, why not do the bacon too!”

I can’t say that I was surprised this burger turned out good, but I was AMAZED AT HOW GOOD IT WAS! I seriously think I am going to make this thing more often! Even keep ham in the freezer specifically to make this burger when we do hamburger night! Best part was we had friends over for dinner (you know I love guinea pigs when I am testing new recipes) and they freaking loved it too!

Oink Burger-2

This is my new signature burger! It is gonna be made at all cookouts! I am gonna make this a regular in our house for burger night! Lucky for you guys, we made a video of this! You can find it HERE and see our first taste of this delicious burger. It may look like a normal burger, but it tastes like the best burger EVER! Oh, and I made those awesome fries too! Enjoy!
